Μέλος Δ.Σ. Κορωναίου Αλεξάνδρα

Professor Alexandra Koronaiou teaches sociology of work and leisure and sociology of the media at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences of Athens. She also teaches ‘Introduction to Adult Education’ in the Greek Open University. Her research interests include sociology of youth, the rise of right-wing extremism and radicalism among young people, sociology of work and free time, education, and gender issues. She has been involved in various research projects. She was Scientific Responsible (2011-2015) for the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences MYPLACE (Memory, Youth, Political Legacy and Civic Engagement, research team, coordinating and conducting research on youth political activity and civic engagement. Since 2014 she is Scientific Responsible for PUA of the MYWEB (Measuring Youth Well-Being) project, and since May 2015 the Scientific Responsible for the HORIZON2020 project InnoSI (Innovative Social Investment: Strengthening Communities in Europe). She has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the 'Observatory on Gender Equality in Education' and of KETHI (Research Centre for Women's Equality).
